Exhibition

This exhibition explores how Islam has influenced Britain over the ages. Going back to 754 when the King Offa of Mercia received ambassadors from the Caliph of Baghdad and luxury goods found their way to Anglo-Saxon England, the hidden contribution of the world of Islam to Britain is revealed. From fashion to science, language to architecture this exhibition shows how the history of Islam and Britain are woven together.
